Review: NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
Today I decided a review would be the next thing for me to blog about. Before I voice my opinion on this product, I would like to clarify one thing. The opinion I have on this product is my own. I am in no way being sponsored or paid by this company or anyone else. Over the summer my go to product has been the
I am an avid NARS lover and own all their foundation. For me, I have found that I break out from almost every other brand's facial products except NARS. Back in May I was on the hunt for a tinted moisturizer (also known as BB Cream) that would even out my skin tone and provide enough coverage for imperfections that I don't wish to show. I have tested out multiple tinted moisturizers and none come close to this product.
The NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer is the right consistency for my combination/ borderline oily skin type. It's not too much of a liquid or cream base. It is bendable and works well for building up coverage. I do have a few acne scars, but I find that one layer of this magic tinted moisturizer provides enough coverage. When I'm wear the Tinted Moisturizer, my skin is able to breath. The product is workable. I can add as many layers as I need for my intended look. When layering the product, I find that it does NOT cake. My skin looks like a better version of itself. The finish is more dewy. Folks with oily skin, don't be frightened by the "dewy" part. My advice would be to powder after you apply this. (I recommend theNARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder). This product has AMAZING lasting power. This baby doesn't budge until I take it off.
My tips for using this product:
-Shake before you use!
-A little goes a long way
-Apply with a damp Beauty Blender/ sponge for the most natural and minimal coverage
-The product lasts me 4 months
Another bonus to this product, is that the tinted moisturizer contains SPF 30 which will protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Also, the Tinted Moisturizer is not tested on animals. You can purchase this product at Sephora, Amazon and Nordstrom, in addition to online from NARS's website.
Overall, I like this product because it is:
-Reasonably priced for how much product I'm paying for
-Nice packaging: squeeze tube- easy to travel with
-Doesn't cling to dry patches
-Stays put in more oily areas, such as the T-Zone
-Not tested on animals
I give the NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer 5 out of 5 stars. After all, I did go out and repurchase this.
