Soap & Glory

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, OH MY GOODNESS!!! Soap & Glory is (finally) sold in a store near me. I have tested out a few of their products, over the last couple of weeks. I am here to tell you if they are truly worth the hype.

Kick Ass Super Blur (left), Kick Ass Concealer (middle) and DIY Brow Bar (right).

I was a bit skeptical to test out the super blurr, which minimizes pores. I've tried a few other products that claim to do the same thing. I like this product. The 'Super Blurr' does what it claims to be able to do- "erase" imperfections. This product allowed for my foundation and concealer to have a more even coverage on breakouts and the areas of my face where my pores are larger.

The Kick Ass Concealer sure does live up to its name. The product matches my skintone perfectly and blends in well. This concealer does not sit on top of my skin or give off the idea that I'm wearing concealer. It looks and feels natural. This concealer works great for under my eyes. It does not crease or sink into any laugh lines. I also like that this concealer stays put. I don't need to go over it with setting powder, once I blend it in. It's there to stay, until I remove it. The only thing I would like to see change with this concealer, is the range of shades offered. There are not a lot to choose from, which can be difficult seeing as there are many skin types and different undertones.

The DIY Brow Bar wasn't what I expected it to be. I wasn't a fan of the buildability of this product. The colors matched perfectly to my brows, and for the look I was going for- worked well for the darker or lighter brow looks. What I didn't like was how much product I would need on my brush to show on the intended area. This unfortunately, was not worth the buy.

This is my favorite eyebrow pencil. I purchased two shades: "Love is Blonde" and "Brown is Out". I like how smooth this product glides onto my skin and how easily it grabs to my brow hairs. It does not pull or feel waxy, like most pencils tend to be. The only thing I'm not too keen on with this pencil, is the setting gel on the other end. I would much rather prefer a regular spooly to comb my brows, and evenly distribute the product. The setting gel feels like Elsa froze my eyebrow. It is very displeasing and uncomfortable.

Overall, I am a fan of Soap & Glory. I think it is worth the price and the product quality is above average for a drugstore brand. I plan on repurchasing the concealer and eyebrow pencil.

Alrighty, now is the time where you give me a slew of other Soap & Glory products to try. Leave your favorite ones in the comment section!

Have a great rest of your day! Xx.
